Yesterday, while returning some books to their shelf, I noticed another book that honestly never received my attention--Jacques Villon and His Cubist Prints, a slim 2001 exhibition catalogue purchased (at a sale/clearance price) at the Philadelphia Museum of Art's bookstore circa 20 years ago. Dated mostly 1913 and later, Jacques's cubist prints appear to be very much influenced by the 1911-1912 paintings of his youngest brother, Marcel. I thought to myself: "I can definitely do something with this," meaning, I could definitely make an artwork out of this.

An hour or so later, I thought: "Perhaps my artistic modus operandi is, not so much a seeking of inspiration, or even the careful planning of a work before its execution, rather, consistently keeping an eye out for my next artwork to spontaneously present itself.

Hence, today: "A nuanced readymade, much like a serendipitous readymade, is practically synonymous with cosmodada."

Re: Cremaster Cycle
Is it true that Barney is next going to work on a "reality TV" project? American Immunity Idol, is it? Or Quasi-Quondam Bachelor Fearlessly Stripping In Absolutely Fabulous Drag? I know, Lights, Camera, Apostasy!
In the future, all reality will be recorded by a camera, because if it isn't captured by a camera, you can kiss that reality goodbye.
