. . . just now thought how the transparencies could/will depict the mirror image of the original image and instead of the words 'left' and 'right' seen properly, the words 'same mind' will be displayed instead. The working title of the painting is Siamese. The notions of twins, duality, and the hemispheres of the brain are all part of the overall issue that the painting addresses.
. . . the large squares as supports for a giant redux of one or another of 2 = odd series.
These retrospectives could be a lot of fun and a great vehicle for spontaneity.
. . . screws and plexiglas in all the various methods, canvas paper or mylar with screws or pins, whole magazines and screws, photo screen save mosaics + plexi + screws, pre-stretched canvas inserted, doors and other hinged elements.
