My thinking is that although Gladstone Gallery had the works pulled when they were first offered for auction at eBay, and although I complied with their request, I also, in reply to Gladstone Gallery, more carefully explained the non-reproductive nature of the works and said that I might further add my own "hand" to the works, thus then bringing the works more in line with the accepted notions of appropriation art--plus the parody clause of free speech makes the works cum commentary legal.
